Delete your account and your data.
How to permanently delete your UrielleX account or organization. The UrielleX app is provided by [Registered company name].
Delete it in the app
Open the app
Sign in to the UrielleX mobile app, or the web app at uriellex-web.vercel.app.
Go to Profile
Tap Profile, scroll to the bottom and choose “Delete my account”.
Confirm
Check what will happen, type DELETE and enter your password. Your account is erased straight away.
If you're the only admin of a group that has other members, the app will ask you to make someone else an admin, or delete the organization, first. That way a group is never left with nobody in charge.
Ask us to delete it
Send a request with the phone number on your account. We'll call or text that number to confirm it's you. Then we delete the account and tell you when it's done. We aim to do this within 21 days, and usually much sooner.
What is erased
- Your account: name, phone number, email and password
- Your membership of every organization, and your role in each
- Your entries on organizations' rosters
- Messages you sent us through the contact form
- Any organization where you are the only member, with all of its data
You're signed out on every device, and your phone number can be used to register again later as a new account.
What is kept, and why
Your contributions to a group
They stay in that group's records so its totals remain correct, but your name, phone number and note are removed. Nothing links them back to you.
Paystack's transaction records
Paystack, as a licensed payment processor, keeps its own records under financial regulations and its own privacy policy.
Subscription invoices an organization paid
Kept as business and tax records, without the payer's identity.
Backups and security logs
Deleted as they roll over, and never used to restore your account.
Deleting an organization
An admin can delete an organization in the web app from Admin → Settings → Delete organization, confirming with its name and their password. This erases its roster, memberships, contribution records, policy, settings and logo, and switches off its payout account. Members keep their own UrielleX accounts and any other groups they belong to. Export anything you need first, because this can't be undone.
